Small public and private water supplies are often remotely situated, unmanned and have very limited services. Consequently, the design and implementation of cost effective monitoring of these supplies to meet increasing demands for data on operational performance and water quality can pose problems. Presentations will be given by leading experts on legal and operational requirements, remote sensing, data capture and transmission. Staff from SouthWest Water will present details of work on water quality in remote reservoirs.
